So The car is a 2009 335i, All options, with 11,000 miles, Coupe bsm exterior with coral red interior. They are asking 36,990. What do you guys think? should i be able to get it down to 35k or am i dreaming, what do you think a fair price is for this car? Car is in So Cal. and does not have the extended warranty only the 4 year 50k mile one. And it has the oem wheels they are 17s i think, Not the nice 19's =(

bought a 2009 with everything but nav for 34...had 35k miles on it but it was also CPO'd
make sure to check when it was made, a 09 could lose its warranty this next year if it was built late 08 |

That is a great deal IMO. But remember, everything is negotiable; offer them 35k. If they reject it, meet them in the middle at 35,990.

seems like a fair deal you got, im also going to be putting down about 28k cash should this give me any kind of advantage or would they rather see me put down zero and have more to finance?

if the dealer is doing the financing for you then they would prefer to finance more of the purchase because that equals more money for them

The dealer doesn't care about cash vs. financing. I would suggest you offer 33 or 34k. What options does this car have? Sounds like you aren't entirely happy about the car (17 inch rims)? I would use the fact that it isn't exactly what you want as a negotiating point. I just bought 335 a couple weeks ago and it has the oyster/black interior...i would have preferred just black.... I used that as a negotiating point and I got it down 4k from their asking price. Just remember, this isn't the only 335 out there... don't be afraid to walk out.

eh, okay deal. I bought a 2011 335d with Cold Weather, Premium, Nav, Sport, USB/iPod, Sat Radio with 15k miles for 41k. There should be a lot of room to negotiate on a 2 (or 3) year car.

I had a e93 335i with coral red. Never really got tired of that int color I think its pretty nice actually. Ya i went down there it also had the 6 yr 100,000 mile warranty but the black paint was just in bad condition the person who had it before thrashed it and me being an auto detailer i couldnt really get over it i offered them 35k they came back with 35,500 i said no they said if i take today they can do 35k i went back out and looked at the car and couldnt pull the trigger because of all the scratches it just killed me i cant stand black paint unless i have a fair chance at it and get it new its bad. They said they will do a paint correction (most likely they will ruin the paint more) and have me come back tommmorow (today) and see if its better ill offer less this time and tell them its just not what i want which is true ...well seew

Idk. I bought my 2010 E90 335i M-sport with 17k for $37k ($41k out the door w/ total image package). Fully loaded as well obviously. 11k is def low miles but ask $35k and settle for $38k. Get atleast a grand or two marked off asking price, ALWAYS! Congrats if u buy it
