How happy does your E9x make you?

So I was driving home for the holiday's from school when I realized how much I just love driving my BMW. I was going through a toll and just decided to keep my foot in it through second and part of the way through third. The car just put a smile on my face with the constant power through ought the entire gear.

Made me realize my love for these cars and why I wouldn't want to be driving anything else.

So I was wondering if anyone else has moments like this where the remember why they love these cars so much.

A flawless start every time I need to use mine makes me very happy, no lingering, no problems. Mine has been consistent for over 62,000 miles. Nice to meet another student lol!

It does make me happy as it's an extra car, haven't had a payment in like 2 years, and I don't have to drive it daily. That means when I do drive it, it's that much better. There's a reason for the C&D 9 Best list (3 is immovable from the list).

I can't say BECAUSE I'M NOT DRIVING MY CAR .. lol

6 days after I bought my car, I took a vacation to my hometown in St. Louis, MO. Of course Budget rental gives me a Toyota Prius ...

Honestly, I'm glad I'm driving the Prius (though I hate it with a passion), because it really reinforces that there is joy in driving an automobile, and that it greatly varies depending on the automobile.

The Prius gets stellar marks on fuel economy, but that's it. No road feel in the steering, and is susceptible to even moderate crosswinds. It's hard to modulate the brakes--it's either all or nothing. Of course, no power whatsoever meaning I have to plan to pass people on the highway. The CVT makes the engine feel even more overworked than it already is.

Even small stuff like the fact that it beeps at you constantly. The seatbelts I can understand, but couldn't Toyota found another less annoying way to remind the driver and front passenger? It gets worse .. if you don't buckle up immediately, the beeps get faster. Ugh. It also beeps when you put the car in reverse, as if I'm driving a garbage truck.

Clearly, Toyota did not design the Prius for the enthusiast driver, but for those who are environmentally conscious and seek great fuel economy. But BMW (and Audi as well) has shown that 'sport' and 'efficiency' do not have to be mutually exclusive.

Mine makes me happy when I look at it from the outside, I think E92's are very good looking cars. The only time it makes me smile while driving is when I'm able to push it hard around a sharp curve. The car just remains so flat and confident, no body roll or hesitation in the steering. I can never drive it fast on straightaways. Always too much traffic in downtown orlando

I averaged 27.7 mpg while driving 250 miles today! Can't complain about that at all. (that also averaging 80mph)

Honestly I don't care about fuel efficiency as long as I'm having a good time. I can use a whole tank mindlessly driving. I like to keep the pedal one position...ON.

That's my face every time I get into my car. Traffic is my natural enemy now. Open back roads are my BMW's natural environment!
