Has anyone bought pre LCI angel eye bulbs from ebay?
Slowly but surely, I am modding my car. I've got a '06 330I, factory xenons, tru-match bulbs for the fogs (4000k).
Has anyone bought these? or something similar? http://www.ebay.com/itm/LED-Angel-Ey...ht_4176wt_1019 |

Has anyone bought these? or something similar? /QUOTE] If I were you, I would stick to the reputable vendors on the forum. If you're on a bit of a budget, the newest HighPerformanceBulbs.com are great. http://www.highperformancebulbs.com/bmwaneywh6wa.html and it $49, you can't beat them for the price. HPB has a stellar reputation for making great products. You shouldn't have errors with these, but you do have an 06' car, which is known to have a sensitive carputer. If you do get error codes, never fear! Just email HPB, and they will assist you in getting rid of the codes. If you want to be a bit spendier, the MTEC V3's are fantastic too. They are extremely bright, but don't be expecting it to reach the level of the E92 LCI in direct sunlight. At $129, they're a bit of a jump from the HPB bulbs, and I can't say how much brighter they are than the new HPB products--haven't seen a side-by-side yet. Then, we get to the venerable LUX 5.1's, available at LuxAngelEyes.com for $250. The LUX H8 V3's, which are available for the BMW's that use an H8 bulb for their angel eyes [read: not your car] are easily the best plug-and-play kit. Period. End of story. Customer service is first rate, much like HPB. The LUX 5.1's are certainly super-bright, but is their brightness increase over the MTEC V3's worth the increase in price? Again, I can't tell you, one day I want to see a side-by-side of all the angel eye solutions for the E9x's. Hope this helps, feel free to PM me if you want more in-depth information that I didn't answer. |

The xenesis bulbs are way overpriced, go to highperformancebulbs.com and you can find color matched halogen bulbs for much cheaper. I've also heard that the xenesis bulbs don't last long.

Yeah, be careful with cheap ebay bulbs. You will get annoying error codes. Plus a lot of time they photoshop the photos to make them look better than they are. Save up a little extra and get good ones. You wont regret it.
