Need for an alarm?

When we bought the car I didn't realize that the alarm wasn't already on the car, but anyway would you recommend getting an OEM installed or an aftermarket one? Thanks

i know a lot of people don't have the OEM alarm installed, it really depends on how safe is your neighborhood (no offense), where you choose to park your car, etc...

if you want to get an alarm, OEM all the way, it's nicely integrated, and makes the clown nose blink

I hve OEM alarm its pretty good...like the sound it makes

Either OEM or Viper, Viper has a vibration sensor that is really sensitive that OEM doesn't offer. They are around the same price too.

What is the sound that you like? Our neighborhood is fine (knock on wood) but I just want one just to have it on there.
