How long does it take from awaiting transport to dealer?

Knowing the date can't help or can't make it be faster, but I still want to know when the car will be here. The status for my car is awaiting transport for 4 days already, anyone knows appx. how many days the car will be in california? It's in Munich right now. Thanks.

We feel your pain. Its a long road, but very worth it in the end.

Well...for the bad news...sorry to break it to you.

Once the car gets on the boat...it will take a good 4 weeks to make the trip to CA, get to the VPC, and then down to your dealer.

My car hit the prep center [NYC] on 10/1/2005. I got the call on Saturday [10-22-2005] that it will be ready to be picked up today!!!

I went ABSOLUTELY INSANE after the 1st seven days. I called the dealer everyday and asked him why there was such a dealy. I mean we are talking about movin the car from NY to NJ [50 miles max].....I told him that I could walk that distance and it still wouldnt take that much time. Every other stage was smooth and fast except this one. In the end he just told me that it is out of his control and it will get here when it does.....that drove me more crazy!!!!

So I know how you feel....but your r just gonna have to wait it out. It will be worth it!!!

My car was built on 10/13 and is still awaiting transport.

Congrats on the car and I hope you enjoy it. 3 weeks it is an excruciatingly long time! Any thoughts on what the problem was?

My car arrived at the port on 10/14 and has been awaiting transport ever since.....going on 11 days now.
