Xenon adaptive headlight turned pink/ purple?!?

I have an 06 E90 with the xenon adaptive headlight. I got in a small wreck requiring to change the left headlight. It was 800$ for a brand new oem headlight. It worked fine and the color of the projector or light was white. 3 months later it started getting pinkish 2 days ago. Now it is a full BRIGHT pink purple color!
It kinda looks like the terminator lol

What could be the problem?

How much is the bulb any way? I'm going to the dealer Friday and if it's not that expensive I can get it from tischer and do it my self.

Headlight housings don't come with any bulbs. Infact it generally doesn't come with the control unit for the adaptive system or the servos. That stuff usually gets swapped over.

On a side note, if you replace the bulb and it begins to fail again quickly, you may have a faulty igniter that's causing the bulbs to burn out. My TL had a bad igniter resulting in premature failure of the Xenon bulb ultimately turning it into a pink strobe light on the freeway.
