Yeah usually- but in thise case you're going from a 330 to a 335 CONVERTIBLE. If it was me I'd be asking "what 330?"

Right here. My 335 should be here at the end of the month but I miss my Audi S4 that I sold about a month and a half ago. I'm missing the sound of the car most. I'm hoping a PROcede'd BMW will take the pain away

I kinda had that feeling, then I switched to happier thoughts of driving a Bimmer for the coming years, no more stress or worries about my old ride

very true However, compared to my old ride, I think the price tag was worth my comfort etc. Nonetheless I still can't believe I spent so much

I did. Had a e36 m3 for 5 years and I loved that car. Once I was trading in the car I realized that was the last time i'd see it But...then I got into the 335 after delivery and forgot about the m3.

I love this new car. What m3?

I don't know what a B5 S4 sounded like but no I6 in a BMW can match the sound that comes out of my friend's S4 (V8).

I understand how you feel, doesn't matter what car you come from you are always going to miss it because of the memories you guys shared. But it does help when your new car is a lot better though!

Pangearox, I hear ya. There's a certain sentimental connection with your old car even if the new one offers "more" in many respects (i.e., power, attention, etc.).

I remember my old man saying that once he started shopping around for a new car, the old to-be-replaced car would suddenly run a little smoother and be more reliable. It's insane but then again, buying a car does not necessarily follow any logic either.

Best of luck with your new ride! Hope to spot you in the GTA sometime!

Now you'll have -2 doors and one less roof on occasion. You'll have to tell us what you think after a month of the switch.

I had a similar reaction when I sold my 1994 Civic Coupe w/140,000 miles right before I got my E92. Some of us have special relationships with our cars and when you have a car for 13 years, it becomes a member of the family. Knowing that you won't see it again after all the good times you had is a very sobering feeling.

But....after driving my E92 for the first time, that Civic was a distant memory!
