About to pull the TRIGGER!!!!

Im about to pull the trigger on either a 2011 LCI 328i coupe or 2011 LCI 335i coupe in about a week. Both have same features as listed.

2012 LCI 328i, 335i coupe
Jet black
Sport Package
Premium Package
Logic 7
Navigation
Cold wheather package
Paddle shifters
Saddle brown interior
Burl walnut trim
Automatic transmission

But I have some hesitations, I'm buying this car car and have heard horror stories of hpfp problems with the 335i and do want an overly problomatic car.
When I went to test drive both of the cars I test drove the 328i first, and was pretty blown away by the handling (I drive a 1996 jeep) and by the pep it had. Then I test drove the 335i and I ALMOST SHIT MY PANTS that thing is crazy fast and doesn't feel as lazy as the 328i felt. I asked the salesman if I could take it on the interstate and he said " go ahead". Once we came to the on ramp I hit the right peddle and was off like a rock, passing other car was so effortless in this car. After we got back to the lot I told him is was going to make my decision this coming week about which car im going to purchase. The difference in price is about 4 grand, but it's not the price difference I worried about it's the reliability of the 335i I'm worried about. Has anyone had a trouble free 335i and under regular driving condition do you think I would have hpfp problems.

Get the 335 without a second thought. You already made your decision - which one moves you? HPFP is covered for 10 years/ 120,000 miles.

1 for the 335i. The hpfp is pretty much the only reliability issue that differentiate itself from the 328i. ??

Do you want less power or do you want the turbo'd V6?
I wouldnt go without that dual exhaust anyways.
335i or get an Audi or something.

I thought they fixed the HPFP issue with all current models?

I don't really see anything on the boards regarding a 2009+ 335i having these issues...

I had the same hesitation previously but it was either keep my '03 E46 sedan or go with the '11 335i which I have loved since it came out. Get the 335i. If you don't and you opt for the 328i, that's your choice, but I guarantee you that you will be sorry you didn't spring the extra 4k for the twin scroll turbo... ZOOOM ZOOOM!

Guess not...

I thought all the HPFP issues were for the earlier years...2007/2008. I thought they were all fixed and the newer models had the revised fuel pumps...

No question the 335i. I originally purchased a 335i first and when I went to put it in for service was loaned a 2011 328i. Although I do know what you mean about the 328i being peppy but we are dealing with two very different cars here. The 335i as you have described is a monster compared to the 328i. The 335i is better in essentially every aspect except gas mileage. In regards to your HPFP concern, it is covered for the 10 years as a previous post had indicated. I have had mine replaced over a month ago and have had no problems since. I am also running a few modifications as well. In fact, that is the best part. Modding a 335i will be a great joy and is much more responsive in power gains than a 328i. Go for that 335i, you wont regret it.

The 335i is really fun to drive and you have the HP in your back pocket for times when you need it.

I just put 2000 miles on a road trip vacation and part of the fun of the vacation was the drive!!

If the hpfp is really a problem, then rest assured every N54 from late '06 to late '09 has had the hpfp replaced under a recall. Some got a new lpfs, and some got injectors as well. Those are not the only problems that a 335 could have, but I'm saying if that's the one you're worried about, don't worry anymore.
