OK to get 2005 build date e90?

I'm looking to purchase an '06 325i but it was built in 06/2005. Anything I should be wary about?

I know that usually within the first 6-8 months of a new model being released there are usually some changes made to the car's build, some fixes, and changes in the packages available that comes with it. Usually quality control stuff from my previous experiences with first model year BMW's.

Also, anyone know if e46 Type-55 16" wheels will fit on there? (my existing winter rims/tires)

BMW pretty much had things nailed down by the time the E90 came about because they were already tested on the 5 car. The only issues are the control lock which sometimes locks up and u can't start the car do a forum search. Second known issue is watter pumps going out at 80k miles i also had an AC compressor go out at like 45k..

other than that BMW built a solid car considering it was the first batch. Also take pride in the fact that you have the last 325 end of a generation

We currently have a 06 325i with 73,000 miles (07/2005 build date). No real problems other than leaking headlight washers @ 52,000 miles, noisy ac/heater fan @ 60,000 miles, and a water pump @70,000 miles. Pixels fading on the radio has been another known issue also. Really has been a solid car.

Your existing rims may not work on the e90.

e46 Style 55 typically ran 225/50/16 tires mounted on rims with with ET-46mm offset, e90 typically is ET-34mm offset on a 16" rim with 205/55/16 Tires
