Unlock our car with a cell phone...

Saw this the other day. Anyone try it yet?

"This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone: If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other "remote" for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk).
>Editor's Note: It works fine! We tried it out and it unlocked our car over a cell phone!"

I heard there is a flaw to this, it only works one time so better use it wisely. I guess that is why no one test it out yet fearing they will not be able to use it again in an emergency.

comfort access elminates the need for this since it makes it impossible to lock your key inside your car.

wrong. If you have CA and you dont know where you left your key, you can still use your phone to open the door. Just rub on your phone antena

this only works if you have a fob up your ass as well.

Hey - did you know that if you hold an egg in the palm of your hand and sqeeze as hard as you can that it can't break? Give it a try!

This could very well be one of the major causes of fuel pump failure...

On a serious note I tried it with my Jeep a while back (kinda thought of it randomly one day when i was bored) and it didn't work. Wouldn't think a cell phone would transmit frequencies in that range.
