Squeaky Door Handles? e92 335i

As title says...

My drivers door handle squeeks when opening, and can jam open unless pushed closed.

Anyone else experiencing this?

2006 325i 2 times replaced the 4 handles on the car (dealership did for free) , and still doing it ...

I just ease my mind on the fact it's just the handle and not motor fail or blown tranny like my friends car

Same happens to me on my back doors. It doesn't really bother me so I don't care to have it replaced.

This is an old issue with the e9x's. Many old threads can be found with a search. It happened to me years ago and I just pulled the handle to the open position, held a folded paper towel beneath the mechanism, and carefully squirted some WD-40 in there. I opened and closed the handle a few times to work in the lubricant and haven't had an issue since. Good luck.

Cheers bud, I'll give the wd40 a go... Otherwise do you think they would be covered on extended warranty?
