Key not working properly.....not charging
I have two keys for my 335, but the main one I use does not seem to be holding a charge even though I have it in the ignition most of the time I drive.
Is there anything the dealer can do to charge it up or is it on it's way out? TIA

We posted at the same time.
If it's a CA key fob, you need to change one battery. There should be a battery door on the back of your key fob. I believe the battery you need to buy is a 2032 lithium button coin cell battery and it can be purchased over the counter. |

Some CAs don't read all that stuff BMW sends them or pay attention in the BMW classes. The other thing the CA told me was that I was shifting gears all wrong. I have >190k on the original clutch of my other car. Dumbasses.

Apparently, some BMW dealers were a bit slow to get the word that the CA batteries don't recharge. But it is clearly pointed out in the owner's manual. Tom |
