Warranty Question

Alright, I searched and searched and searched and all I could find were threads about people inside their warranties and wanting to extend them so I apologize if this is an annoyingly reposted question

I am in the process of buying my first BMW...a 2008 335xi with 57k miles on it meaning it is outside of the 50k miles. I was offered 3 different options for warranties and I am just curious which one if any I should look at getting. If anybody here knows anything about any of them

There is one through Chrysler which is added care and added care plus etc. - 3 years 36k miles

Another one is the BMW Extended Vehicle Protection which is just the Powertrain Plus - 3 years 36k miles

The last one is ASC Warranty Factory Type Coverage - 5 years 100k miles

I am not worried about the cost of these since they are all within 100 or so dollars of eachother.

I am mainly curious if anybody here has had any experience with or has heard anything about any of these. Be it positive or negative please let me know. Also, are there any other options with warranties.

yeah its through one of my close friends place that buys cars and leases them out basically...i know this thing was kept up in tip top shape...he sent it to a dealership and everything checked out...so no it is not a CPO due to it not being directly through the dealership but yes it was thoroughly checked out

thanks for the heads up

Garage List
2007 BMW 335i  [8.00]
1989 BMW M3  [8.20]
Don't know anything about the other two.

BMW one is major powertrain components and systems only. Fairly limited, but better than nothing. Will be honored at BMW dealers. Will cover your turbos. Many people opt for the Gold level (next level up) that is comparable to CPO. Platnium (top level) will cover radio and navigation.
