335is drivers and sport mode
got it 2 weeks ago and love it.one question, though, if you shift manually, using the paddle shifters, does it make any sense to put it in sport mode, or should I just leave it in automatic with the sport mode engaged.
Love the car, the engine and transmission are amazing. Oh, and did I mention the exhaust note. Thanks for any advice. |

The sports button shifts faster (not rpm, but the time it takes to jump from 1st to 2nd for example) regardless of D, S, or M modes.
S mode holds the gears up to the higher rpms. |

Basically, it's good for forcing a downshift into a corner, and then it'll take over and upshift aftterwards. Personally, I just use DS with the paddles exclusively. Like posted above, too bad you couldn't get it to default to DS. |
