335d loses low end torque!
My 2007 335d has lost its low end power. I parked it as usual after a normal drive. When I got back in to leave it was sluggish. The revs go up buy the lower is gone.
When it hits 3rd gear it takes off like a bat out of hell. Could someone please help me? |

You're going to have to check codes and let us know some details. Otherwise take it back to the dealer for them to look at it. How old is it? Still under warranty?

^Yes - why ask someone other than the dealer or a qualified independent shop?

could be a software error, i believe this car cuts power in first gear because it can be too much. maybe yours is cutting it a little too much?
dealer, report back |

I live on Barbados and I imported the car from the UK. it's going to the dealers here to be checked but it could be so many things. We get the worst fuel on the planet, it could be the filter.
I just serviced it and I service regularly due to our fuel. Will update you guys in the morning |

Hi.
See link, I'm sure this will help. You may not need the DPF removed if the light has not come on. It is most likely a broken pipe from the turbos.http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ht=dpf+failure |

Thanks a lot you guys have been a great help. My baby is now going even faster than when I first got it.
The problem was a small vacuum line to the compressor bypass plate solenoid. All my lines are hard and need changing so if anyone knows of any companies who sell nice silicone aftermarket lines I would like to know. This is my first time in the post and I'm officially hooked. I learn so much about these cars. Anyone coming to Barbados soon you can give me a holla!!! Thanks again. |

I was wondering what is the best boost gauge to get (My car is RIGHT HAND DRIVE)
I want something that looks patent. Back light looks like the original BMW's. I saw a digital one but it's only for LHD. If I don't find a nice one I will just do without. |

I have the same problem, however no code errors with BMW diagnostics. Is there any chance you take a photos of the hoses / lines that were broken and how to get to them? I don't even know how to remove the cover, and I am really not happy driving it, since it doesn't have that boost it had before...
