Are you a Mac or PC person?
Just curious to know if most people who have BMWs are Mac or PC people.
I own a 15.4" MacBook Pro and am very happy with it. In fact, I just typed this message on it! edit: I realized I made a mistake in the poll. it should say: "Do you use a Mac or a PC?" |

I'm a PC guy, always have been.... Yes, I do have Apple products to include an an iPod, an iPad, and an iPhone. All fantastic products, though I prefer the "control" I have over my PCs.... I refuse to get an iMac or Mac because I don't want its differences to confuse me. I use PCs at work very heavily...very techy job...gotta keep up with the PC stuffs so I can be the best I can be. If I retire, I may try a Mac but then again I may not because Apple annoys me with their buying/sharing/storing schemes.

Nor are Mac in any way more limited in what "power users" can do. They just happen to make it easy for normal users to get stuff done.

Wrong section
I'm a mix between apple and pc products. I'm currently waiting for the next gen MacBook, but I'm not terribly excited. I used to care, now it's whatever, as long as I have a fast computer I'm good. |

Kind of both, but I have started to wean myself off of PC's. I programmed on them built them and still like them a bit, but once I switched to Mac a few years ago I really don't feel like going back. Maybe because I am getting older and I am tired of tinkering with them, I know its cliche but my Mac just works, while my Win 7 laptop is always having issues.
The only time I have to reboot the thing is when I upgraded to a new version of OSX, or I am shutting it down for a few days because I am traveling. I know its a little thing but I think I realize how much more frustrating Win is with the constant lock ups when I switch between that and my PC.

Both... PC at work, mostly macs at home, along with a PC.
I actually find the Windows PC more limiting.... I guess that's because I'm used to having all the unix stuff built-in, which I'm comfortable with. The Macs are just sexier though, and more pleasant to use. Some people don't care about aesthetics and just treat their computer as an appliance. That's why some people buy Toyotas to drive, too.

Ditched my PC 7 years ago and only use one at the office when I have to. I carry my new '13 Macbook Air around the office and occasionally use the company provided Dell Desk top (provided it isn't on the blue screen of death). Use a 27' iMac and home when I am not using the iPad or watching AppleTV. I am going to miss Steve Jobs.
