I think the 284 is for non-msport. You should receive the 193M wheels, which are much nicer than the style 284 IMO.

Are you asking if you should have received a second set of wheels?

193M is much sexier.

I ordered my 328i with M sport last November on Black Friday and it came with the 193M wheels when I picked it up in late January.

I don't know about 335i, but it comes with different ones. I forget the style number that it came with at the time I got my car, but it is the five spoke star one I think.

EDIT: speaking of e92, not e90. I think e90 wheels have been the same as the e92 328i wheels though in the last year (not e92 335i).

Unless you paid additional to keep those stock wheels, you were misinformed.

now im wondering if thats even an option, considering i need winter set and the 193M's come with summer tires, which failed miserable in stopping me during the past weekend snow.

why would you get additional wheels? You got the wheels that came with the package on your car. Base package, sport package, and M-sport cars all get different wheels. You should NOT have received any additional wheels.

If you buy a second set about 4k) you will get the original set as well, of you buy m-sport or upgrade (less than 1k) you won't get a second set.
