Pickup in SC?

Has anyone picked up at the performance driving school in South Carolina?

On the website I see it as an option, but my dealer really only knew about pickup in Germany.

I'd appreciate any information regarding this, including any costs.

Thanks!

lots of people have done this and its one of the best experiences ever. do a search on PCD or performance center delivery and you'll get tons of reviews.

You can also visit www.PerformanceCenterDelivery.com for a little more info than what is provided on bmwusa.com.

There is a bulletin describing the whole process that your CA can access. Tell them to go to BMW CenterNet and then click on:

Menu > Performance Center > Customer Delivery

They will find all the information needed there. Look forward to meeting you if you decide to take delivery here.

The thing that was most unclear is pricing.

Is there different pricing if you're buying a BMW as opposed to just going down there for a visit - meaning no car pickup?

This is the real question I need answered

Never mind. I found my answer on the PCD website.

Thanks!

2. What is the cost for a customer to take delivery at the BMW Performance Center? What is the additional cost to the selling BMW center?

$0. Taking delivery at the BMW Performance Center is a no-cost option for both the customer and the center. However, customers are responsible for the cost of their personal travel to and from South Carolina.

Doing PCD should be a given for any enthusiast. If after reading my review of PCD you decide not to do it, you must be committed to your nearest mental health facility for observation!

Like many others, I highly recommend it! BMW pays for the hotel (Marriott) and dinner (special BMW Menu!). When you get to your room, you will find a BMW packet of coffee and a copy of the Roundel!
The shuttle takes you to the PC the next morning and that's when the fun begins. Almost certainly, you will meet Donnie Isley (Chief Instructor) who will put A SMILE on your face for the rest of the day!. If you are really good, he'll take you out in the M5!

Bring your camera and video to get an in-car if you get a ride!

If you need a contact at the PC, contact Dannielle Swain at danielle.swain@bmwnaext.com
