Chrome/polish time attack rings?

I have a jet black E90.

Will be throwing some 19s on and have been looking around at the wheels I want.

Have seen a few alpine white E90's with black wheels and a white time attack ring - looks amazing

Now back to my car. The time attack rings I have found only come in certain colors - silver or white being the one I think we would look good on a black car - however, a polished or chome type of time attack ring would look even better! any way this can be done? Obviously you are not "painting" on chrome or polish. And with the vinyl or "sticker", you can't really get the polished look.

Suggestions?

My next option is to find a wheel that is both concave - think VMR CSL's, etc - but a brand that has a "lip" on their concave design.

--also what color would be better, gunmetal/gloss black/matte black/other on a jet black car?

Getting a polished time attack ring on wheels would be pretty tricky. You may be able to polish the wheels first, tape off the lip of the wheel and then paint the surrounding wheel, but again it would be hard to make it look clean and once it's painted it may be hard to correct slight errors, such as unevenness in the ring itself. Some vinyl may look pretty close to polished though.

If you can find rings with that type of vinyl you may be able to achieve the look you're looking for. Plus, there's the added bonus of that it would be much easier to go back and reapply the vinyl if it didn't look the way you wanted.

Perhaps I can buy vinyl rings and then place the polish vinyl overtop somehow?

Nutek has some concave wheels w/ lip im going to look into.

The 1 series is actually running V710s, not sure why it's labeled as V709s! Thanks for the support though.
