What about carrying windsurfing equpment ...

I have got the roof rack on my E91, but I don't like install the roof rack and then my windsurfing board. It takes a lot of time and the wind won't wait.
I figured out, that I can put board inside the car when I drive alone.
What to do, when I wanna go with passenger.
So my idea is:

What do you think about it?
Can I broke anything (especially rear window)?

I put mine on top -- if you get the attachment kit it only takes 30 sec to tighten the straps. I have a one piece mast, so that has to go on top anyway. Plus I usually take more than one board, because the wind speed is not reliable. And I need room inside for my sail and hardware bags.

Plus if you get in an accident it is dangerous to have a board inside.

Great car by the way!
