I am having one installed tomorrow.
416 for the radio 22 for the install kit 162 for the installation.... Its not a complete DIY....unless you want to remove the back seat and mess rewire the MOST...not to mention...the dealer has to reload the Progman |

162 for the installation is pretty cheap. BMW of austin wanted 300 for the installation
416 is one of the cheapest prices for the radio...check out circle BMW...you may save a couple of bucks. You can do most of it yourself...if you search the DIY section you can download the PDF of the BMW instructions. You must have the prewired option to do this one. I think its option code 693 |

I disagree. Model Year 2006 Sat prep is an option, so technically not all US are sat ready. I heard for MY 2007 all cars have sat prep. Can anyone verify this? Of course, this sucks for me. My 330 does not have sat prep and I want my Sirius!!! I am planning to add my Stiletto w/ the car kit but still debating on this install b/c of aesthetics and antenna placement.

Last month I had sirius installed at BMW and when it was all said and done, it was about $800 which included one year prepaid service. Not cheap, but worth it.

I paid 396 for the radio, 25 for the install kit, & 147 in labor.
I sat in the garage and shot the shit with all the mechanics while it was done. Longest part was the progman update ~38 mins With tax it was 592.72 Includes 1 year subscription. I highly recomend this for anyone in the Centex area! |

nope you are incorrect all of the cables come with the car already.
check under the bedliner and you are going to see that too if you connect everything and just take it do the dealer to perform the update they are not going to charge you that much money. also they should NOT charge you more than 1 hour of labor. Read this: http://www.e90post.com/goodiesforyou...iriusRadio.pdf

Correct...the longest part was the Progman upload.
The radio installation was so easy it was sick. I did not feel comfrortable jacking with the MOST block and removing the seats to get to it....some one more mechanically inclined can easily do this. |
