LED License plate. Gone out... replace with OEM or AfterMarket?

Hi Guys,

I am getting some error messages saying my license plate lights are out.
Sometimes they are and sometimes they aren't.

My car comes with LEDs as stock... do i get OEM Replacements... and if i do... where is the best place and how much are they

OR

do i get aftermarket, brighter bulbs? such as...

Is there anything like this in the UK that can be sourced??? What have people worked with?

I was told by my local Euro Car Parts place that the 1 series uses the same fitment LEDs as the E90, and he thought they were only £15 or £20 each. He might have been talking out of his arse, but it's something to look into when I get 5 minutes.

Get the OEM replacements - they look cool. The aftermarket ones look stupid and cheap being as bright as they are.

We have number plates here in the UK.

If you replace them with aftermarket then speak to SSDD Motorsports about them rather than a random google company imho. Teddy at SSDD has a very well proven track record for quality of part and quality of service

Ill get a quote from BMW and see what SSDD can do for me...

Just checked out SSDD and they have some nice bits and pieces! quite tempted to go down to their shop and see what i can buy on the day!
