e92 owners and painted reflector swap?
anybody in the area swap out the ugly amber reflector for the painted ones yet? i'm not the handiest person, but the DIY looked pretty easy, but couldn't really get behind the wheel enough to get the old one out of there with the hair dryer.
seems like it would be easier to either take the wheel off or put the car on a lift (kinda awkward since I can't see behind the panel).

I did it about two weeks ago....and it was a bit of a pain in the ass with the wheels on and turned all the way to one side. Took me 45 minutes to get the first one off, but only 10 for the second once I figured out what to do.
I did deviate from the DIY though. I got the tape warmed up a little, and just went at the side of the reflector closest to the ground with a nail-prying screwdriver (as to not dimple the bumper). The top side was the hard part, I took a bent piece of metal and used it to get between the bumper and tape from the outside (amber side) of the bumper....making sure not to damage the paint. |

Go for a drive and get your car warm.
I did this and the refelctors came off with no problem.
