225/50R17 Conti DSW

New guy here. Sorry for the fitment question right off the bat. I've searched all over the web and this site and can't find a definitive answer. Will 225/50R17 fit on a stock 2011 328ix? I like the 17s but I'd prefer a little taller sidewall. I'm buying some 17x8 ET30 Beyern wheels to go with the Conti DSWs. I've used most of the calculators and they all say the 50s will be about .9 inches taller. What do you think?

I would be concerned about rubbing with that setup.

I personally wouldn't recommend that sizing for your car. It's a bit too tall.

Thank you both for the responses. Since both of you are professional tire guys I'll take this as a definitive 'no'. BTW Gary, I think I may have spoken to you on the phone earlier today. Your immediate and confident answer to my questions left me no doubt as to the correct answer. I appreciate the help.
