Will these rims fit my car?

I have these rims from my 2003 325xi, I think they are style 44. I would like to put them on my 2011 328i with some snow tires. Does anyone know if they will fit? The rims are 225-45-17 which is on my new car now but the dealership told me that they would not fit...

more the likely, but they'll probably really sunk in.

They will fit on your 328 but the offset is really high (ET47) and they will look really sunken in

ideally they would look best with 12mm (or more) spacers

So with spacers they would work fine? As far as spacers go, is there a better brand or place to buy them at?

for the extra $100 or so you might spend on spacers/bolts, why not just throw that money into the wheel/tire purchase and get one that fits better?

[edit] nevermind. lol. i just realized you already had these wheels leftover from your old ride.

For winter season only right?
They will sink in so spac e it out a little, but for daily runs consider a better fitted wheel.

As far as spacers go, you will spend about $100-$150 for a good set of spacers. I would recommend using the ones where you bolt them onto the axle/wheel and then you use a second set of bolts (longer) to actually screw the wheel in-place. This prevents vibrations caused by inexpensive spacers, that otherwise you might think it is your brakes/rotors warping or similar. BTW, I have similar wheels w/225/45/17 winter tires on my E90330i, and they look good...no spacers, my mechanic told me it was better to be a bit narrow stance for the winter.
