Sometimes it's not so bad being "older"

Got pulled over yesterday by the state patrol. 10 over and no front plate.
Only received a verbal warning on the missing plate and was asked to slow down. I'm in my 50's and drive a 2008 335i E92. I KNOW that if I was in my 20's or 30's, I would have been ticketed. This is the third time in the last couple of years this type of thing has happened to me. By the way, I'm in the Seattle area. At least you younger guys have something to look forward to besides gray hair.

my dad is 72 and he never gets tickets, drives like an asshole too

when i was young i NEVER got tickets always warnings....now i get tickets even when i dont do anything wrong...

I'm 27 and have only been ticketed once (when I was 20). I find if I'm respectful, genuinely curious edging on ignorant as to why I'm pulled over, and also NEVER admit fault, I only get warnings.

I've admitted 4 times to speeding, and 2 times to drinking a bit, every time i got warnings.

I've admitted in court few weeks ago for speeding, couldnt get it dropped because i have very bad history, but it was reduced due to honesty

Nothing you can do about getting older. Might as well change your thinking or you'll be one miserable SOB.

Regarding tickets, I'm about to turn 44 but look late 20's. I got pulled over a while back and mentioned to the cop I haven't had a ticket in 16 years. He could not believe how old I was (forgot license at home), and sent me on my merry way.

I'm 57, over 40 years of driving in California, and I've only had one ticket (speeding, over 20 years ago). The other times that I've been pulled over I was honest and polite with the officer, and was let go with a warning. I've yet to be pulled over in my BMW....

I have been pulled over prob 20 or so times. I have gotten a ticket 3 times. I am 25, with a little smooth talking I usually get warnings. The only tickets I have gotten was when i was 18, got paced my a helicopter going 130 at a bmw meet, tint ticket and a ticket for doubling the speed limit. Thankfully now I have zero points on my license

lol thats what i thought too but when i turned 30 a couple yrs ago, it was so anti-climatic hahaha... its all good... 30s is the new 20s.
