If It was an even trade for one with the 6 mt and i didn't need the 4 doors of my e90 335 then i would go for it.

have you ever been in one?

feels cheap and the viability is awful! The doors feel huge

has cool gauges though

I personally wouldn't only because it isn't a car I desire more than my 335. With that being said, I do like them a LOT. A friend of mine regularly tracks his and we run together; his car is a BEAST. Granted, he has modded the car a bit (as have I) and as a result it is really an impressive car.

If you do it, I would look at getting one loaded up and maybe a different color from the basic ones you see everyday. My friend's is maroon with gray stripes.

If you go that route, pics or be banned.

Drive it and decide for yourself. I had one as a rental for a week. The engine was fantastic but its delivery to the road did not seem as refined and precise. But some people don't care about refined and precise so it becomes a personal preference.

This. I also had an SS convertible as a rental one week. Had 5 miles on the odometer when I picked it up. Loaded with heads-up display and everything. The raw power was fun, however the steering feel and interior fit and finish was lacking.

If you like it do it & not worry about what anyone else thinks. You are paying the bill so its best to please yourself when it comes to cars.

Rent one for a week. Drive it and dont drive your bmw. After that week, drive your bmw, then decide which one you like.

Sat in one outside of a Marlins game that was optioned out. The visibility is not the best, but I'm sure you get used to it. The one I sat in had everything wrapped in leather and it was pretty nice. Can't complain about the engine in the thing (426hp, I believe), but I ddin't get to drive it. I'm thinking about going to test drive one just to see how they are. I recommend you do the same and decide for yourself.

I drove one. Suspension is way too stiff as compared to 335i. Interior quality is not there... since i drove a manual, i cant comment on the transmission.

+1 Ford has come a long way with the newer generation stangs. The handling and interior is lightyears beyond that bohemouth Camaro, eventhough the Camaro weighs only 100 lbs more than both the Stang and our 335. The new ZL1 is going to be a beast, however, I'd take the Boss 302 over it - saw one at Infineon a few weeks back and it looked great!
