Just need quick verification.

I, after a two month wait, will be picking up my e92 M sport 335 up tomorrow. I just had a question in regards to the exterior cosmetics. Personally, it is hard for me to see, but I am wondering is the M sport package I have going to be the same as M tech (which is what I heard), but will that also be similar or the same as the M3 exterior styling (front, side, rear)?

Thanks in advanced. So excited.

its not the same, but it is similar. m3 looks like your avatar, big ole round opening like a catfish mouth. msport looks more like a v shape where the opening is.

Ahh, I see it. It's just the sides of the center caving in a bit. Is that all? If so, there isn't much of a difference...

The M3 body has alot of subtle differences to the eye that add up. If you get the chance, look up a thread where someone has converted their 3 series to M3 body panels.
The fenders are wider at all 4 corners, which means the bumpers are wider. The hood is a different length, everything mounts up different. Compare some pics side by side, I used to not be able to tell the difference and now can spot it a mile away.
M-Sport package, among several things, includes the M-Tech kit. It's gonna be a sexy car, congrats.

Just get the M3 sideskirts, M3 trunk lip spoiler, and a front carbon fiber diffuser and you're all set.
