Hey I have a couple questions:

1-Are the roof rack and Box easy to put on/take off?

2-Do they significantly affect your mileage?

I love my wife but she always packs too much **** for our road trips. I mean like one small bag with only shoes. WTF. to be fair I also have 2 children, we are by no means a LARGE family. So the 3 series is big enough for my every day, but when it comes time for a road trip I'm like a load-master, rejecting her ideas of necessary items.

So I'm considering buying a rack and box for our longer trips.

If damned BMWNA would have sold me the 335d Sportwagon/Touring that I wanted this would not be an issue, woulda,coulda.
