Question Best exterior Rubber and trim protectant/restorer??

Hi,

I'm wondering how to bring my Rubber strips that run along my roof back to black??

Something that won't damage the Paint or turn a disgusting color after a few weeks/months???

Anything??? Thanks in Advance!

There's a product called "+1 +1 +1" which works great! Definitely give it a try. I used it on all my cars over the past years and it protected rubber quite well.

Silicone grease is some of the best stuff for protecting, rejuvenating, and sealing rubber. It can be found at hardware stores.

If I think I know what you're referring to, try this:

It also works on the plastic trim.

I've used this about a month ago and it still has that non-faded look even after multiple car washes.

The color doesn't even have to be black in order for it to work.

I use Klasse All-in-One to clean and seal ruber and trim, works very well and leaves a nice flat black finish. Nice part is that since it is also used onpaint, it leaves no white or greasy film on either the paint or trim.

Gummi-Phlege is a classic that also works quite well.

Recently, been trying Muc-Off Tyre and Bumper Shine for rubber and dark plastic trim. Works amazingly well on dark, hard plastic. Still evaluating how long it lasts on the softer rubber, but leaves a nice dark shine.

Gummi-Phege can also be found in some BMW stores, IIRC.

Think I'll have to give the Back to Black a try.
