e90 Euroswitch, which switch?
Alright guys, heres the question...I have a 2008 BMW 335i, sportpackage, xenons, the works...
I want to add the euroswitch mod and i am caught deceiding which switch i need... i have Xenons, I have front fogs, and I have rain sensing wipers... I dont want to sound stupid as S$%t but a friend of mine has the same setup and got this switch which has everything except stating front fogs or rain sensor but everything still works on his car: http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E90-335...hes/ES1866753/ this switch however states: xenon, front fogs, and rain sensor: http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E90-335...hes/ES1899562/ whats the difference and which one should i get? or does it matter? i also dont want to get rid of the auto angel eyes dim and light up when i lock and unlock the car. thanks for your posts. |

I believe the only difference between the two appears to be the chrome.
But it is not really a matter of which but how many. I have 20 as each one adds +10 hp.

+1 on the DIY. I used Legos, my second choice would be a plastic wire nut, I think...
OP, the reference to the parts needed is so that you can put something between the button you push and the buttons on the circuit board that activate the rear fogs. The DIY thread has all sorts of options in it to do this,...and some folks even found their switch had the right part already in place, and all they needed to do was to make the push button operable by removing the 4 tabs that keep it from being pressed. Most definitely better than spending $100+ on the switch, but YMMV.
