Lowering Springs: Camber Issues?

Hate to create a whole new thread but I can't seem to get a straight answer. I'll try to make this concise.

I bought Koni/H&R sport setup uninformed about camber. After buying them I was told I would need plates and/or bolts to reduce camber that would occur from lowering. I was shocked I hadn't heard about this on the forum. So here is goes, a couple questions.

Please inform me of your setup before answering, I'm wanting some feedback towards Eibach pro and H&R sport.

1. How much negative camber do you have as a result of lowering your car?

2. How much negative camber causes uneven wear?

3. Did you buy camber plates or bolts to reduce camber after lowering?

4. Is negative camber adjustable with stock components?

5. When getting an "adjustment", do the mechanics adjust your camber and/or toe in?

Thanks everyone, hopefully this is helpful to more than just me

Depends on the car (i, xi) type of coilover or lowering springs and how much you lower.

2. How much negative camber causes uneven wear?

For the street up to -1.5 will be fine to not cause uneven wear

3. Did you buy camber plates or bolts to reduce camber after lowering?
Yes, Camber plates

4. Is negative camber adjustable with stock components?
No on the e9x, whatever camber you end up is what you get

5. When getting an "adjustment", do the mechanics adjust your camber and/or toe in?
Depending on what camber you end up with determines the range of toe-in adjustment, if you cannot get toe-in alignment into spec, you have to use camber plates, or raise the car..again depends on a number of factors

rub on full compression but that's due to my wheel/tire/offset combo. so many variables to compare.

Alright, thank you. Yeah if you don't mind throwing your offset in those digits that would be great. Thanks

thanks for the reply. Anyone have any H&R sport/eibach + Koni yellow specific info. I was looking at that 1 inch drop range. Would that amount of drop cause uneven wear?

any drop will cause uneven wear. if you are so concerned about it then do not lower your car.

Haha. Good advice. I feel like everyone just has an opinion though. I've heard that everything up to -1.5 camber won't cause uneven wear.

Eibach Pro Kit springs and Performance dampers. No camber plates, alignment is within spec. Don't have the data sheets in front of me but I want to say my specs look something like -.7 up front and -1.7 in the back. I am running a pretty square set-up, in other words not track specs.

1.5 is the end of spec. I figured anything after 2 means unevenly worn tires. At least that's what I feel like I've learned from absorbing info from here.
