Anyone interested in a drive?

I've got a rare two days off this weekend and thought about taking a long drive in the S. GA area either Friday and/or Saturday. Anyone interested in meeting at the 1/2way point between Macon and Augusta?
*I had to edit this because I got my off weekends screwed-up, it's THIS weekend, not next weekend*

There is a good possibility that Friday (5/11) could work for me. It happens to be my off day.

Yes, I have been up there for Roadster Homecoming and to attend the 1 day driving school. Great time!

I cant this weekend. It is the girlfriend's birthday, so I will be down in Savannah - going to St Augustine, FL from there.

I am sure we will be able to get something together in the near future though. PhilDZ4 wanted to get together soon, I just need to get in touch with him!

Are there nice roads in S. GA for some cruising? I know the Carolinas have those mountain roads, GA have anything like that?

S. Ga doesn't exactly have mountains like N. Ga does but, we do have 'hills' as I like to refer to them as. Pine Mountain is a very nice drive - no Dragon Tail by any stretch but, gorgeous scenery and good places for ICB! Then there's Ga's coast - speechlessly beautiful, in my opinion of course - and lots of places for good ICB and pool/darts.
It's the peaceful time, wind in your hair, skyline that makes top-down cruising so nice. It's my Zen time.

Whatever you guys have I'm sure it's better than what CT has to offer

ALso you guys are close enough to the carolinas and the tail of the dragon!

As posted in another thread, I am up for a Saturday drive

On another note, a few of us already have reservations set up for the 2007 Homecoming. the thread set up for it was over on Z4um, so may have to start a thread over here if it stays down much longer. Would be great to see all of you at Homecoming.

Cheers!

My weekends are getting filled up. But I wouldn't mind a GA gtg. When I was in Richmond we used to do a picnic and kickball.

Hopefully the weather will hold out for this weekend, forecast is calling for rain . Of course, cold beer and good company do not depend on the weather either, I am up for whatever can be arranged.

Cheers!

ovrkll: I just checked out weather.com and there's only about a 30% chance of thunderstorms. Not too bad in my book! We can always stop for a diet beer and wait for the rain to pass. I hate driving top-up.
C'mon...anybody else??
