aftermarket slotted rotors

my brakes squeak horribly and the change brakes light came on so i changed the pads and sensors but not the rotors. Its squeaking even worse now so im assuming i need new rotors. A few people have told me to get slotted ones but im not sure. Can any of you guys recommend aftermarket rotors for me?

R1 concepts.. premium rotors look really nice..they are coated on the hub and inside the vanes to prevent corrision

You have your choice of slotted and x-drilled, slotted, x-drilled or blanks

I have heard good things about em..couple of the e46 forum guys have run them and they have had no issues.

It all depends what you are doing..if you are doing hardcore track get the slotted, street you will be fine w/ x-drilled

If you are buying new rotors, do you need to buy new pads as well?

It is a good idea to replace rotors and pads as a set so they are both fresh and will bed-in better. Replacing just the pads or rotors usually results in noise.

Yes u do! Because your pads might be damaged based on your old rotors and will mess up your new rotors.

However you don't have to change rotors everyone you change pads.
