Style 159 as Winter Set on E92
Hi. I\'m looking at purchasing a set of used style 159 wheel with 225/45r17 tires for winter use on my 2008 335xi e92 with sport package. The dealer said these should fit around the brakes no problem, but I\'m concerned about the looks of the rear wheels. Would the difference between these style 159 wheels and my current 255/35r18 stock rears mean the winters are offset way inside the wheel well?
I believe I\'ve seen the style 159 wheels on a few e90s as stock wheels and the rear offset seems fine. Is there a difference in the hubs between the sport and non-sport cars? If so, would I need to use spacers to correct this offset issue? |

I switched from 159's
To the Sport Package 162's with no problem. My 20mm rear spacers made the 159's look quite a bit better, as far as stance. Last edited by Brentster; 09-30-2011 at 04:29 AM.. |
