The very pretty model we are bringing down to Bimmerfest (to do PROcede installs) can do the entire install in 20 minutes. I can do it in 8 minutes but I'm not nearly as pretty as her. It's all a trade-off I guess

So I got beat by a Grandma and a model now?! Took me about 90 minutes...I went real slow when messin with ECU wires of a 50k car. Pulls like a freight train..seems to be a spike at 3800rpm. Only driven it 10 miles since install though, so it may change?:rocks:

Just keep driving it. Perhaps do some 2000 to 7000rpm 3rd gear pulls and let adaptation do its thing.

I just got mine installed and dynoed by Dan Harman . I tell you , it's well your moneys worth ! Only thing that kind of bothered me , when I came back from the dyno shop and parked my car , it took 5 seconds for the motor to turn-over when I wanted to restart !? Ever since I have installed the procede , it's happened to me twice already ! Hopefully it's not the fuel pump . I do have 4200 miles on the car and just this last few days , i started feeling this problem .

Just make sure the ground loop is on solid. Might want to check the crimp and make sure that its making contact with the wire, not the insulation. If the ground is flakey (which would be our fault), you can have starting issues. I've seen it once before, fwiw. If the long starting issue just started as soon as you had the PROcede installed, it probably has nothing to do with the fuel pump.

Hey Shiv I was the Very first Xede car and I am still waiting for my Procede. I already sent you the Xede a long time ago. Its hard to suffer so long once you have already spoiled. Maybe being a beta-tester wasn't the greatest thing.
Pleeaase send mee

Thanks
sam

Sam-- can you come to Bimmerfest this weekend? There is still a handful of Xede users that need to get updated. But i'm waiting for production conversion harnesses which wont be in for a week. If you come to Bimmerfest, I can re-pin your Xede harness for use the PROcede.

Where is this bimmerfest?
Also My car is totally stock now. I already un-installed and mailed you back everything including Xede, harnesses, Solenoids, tubings, screws, etc.
Mailing the procede would be more preferable since I am very comfortable installing and uninstalling the procede. I even did someone elses car, though I am still bitter that He has it and I don't.
