Spacers for Alufelgen CS7s on E92/93?

Is anyone running spacers in the rear with Alufelgen CS7s on their E92/93?

The fronts are so nice and flush that the rears look a bit tucked now, although they are a great improvement over stock. I have a brand new set of Macht Schnell 12mm that I bought to use with my stockies before I decided on the new rims. I was about to return them when I saw that there was some room in the rear.

Any ideas how wide I can go? Guys from Alufelgen or **********s?

12mm might a bit too much. I would recommend 5-8mm spacers and go from there.

not to thread jack, but I have a similar question re my Alufelgen's, but it's my fronts that look tucked now that my car is lowered, running et35. Just wondiering if I could get away with 5mm spacers up front on my e90???

Thanks. Doin' the "highly technical" index finger test, it looks like you're right...10mm at the most (halfway to first knuckle or 1/2 inch/about 10mm). 5-8mm would be more like it, as you suggest.

Not sure it's worth introducing another variable for that kind of gain. They look pretty darn good as is!

We have done 5mm in the front with no issues. It all will depend on the tire brand, size and the suspension setup.

Matt I am running Conti DWS, 235/35 series tires up front. What do you think? It's doesn't seem like there's a lot of clearance between my fender liner and my tire when I crank the wheel over. Guess I would more concerned with rubbing on the fender itself though.

5mm spacers in the front and the rear will push the wheels out just a bit. It will be safe without a fender roll. You can also add 10mm spacers if you're looking to go a bit more aggressive, however, this may cause rubbing issues which can be solved by a fender roll!

When I had CS7's I used 10mm all around (19x8.5 19x9.5 et35) and was nice and flush with no rubbing on my HR sports. That worked well with Falken 452's but when I switched to Pilot Super Sports the rears were too beefy and removed the spacers, 10mm front and 5mm rear works.

H&R Trak spacers are a good choice. They're made in Germany and are TUV approved!

Good question. I would assume hubcentric spacers are the way to go.

all 12mm hubcentric spacers seem to be fine, but i found a thread on these forums stating that most 10mm hubcentric spacers are not compatible with these wheels

^ H&R 10mm on all four. They are hubcentric and no rubbing with Falken 452's....but they do rub in the rear with my beefy PSS's, 5mm spacer would fit with those tires.
