I LOVE how every thread started with a topic like this the OP is automatically directed to getting a 335. With this thinking how do 328s thrive so well?

It looks like a decent deal OP

He asked a question on this model. Not a bad deal at all.

OP... drive both.. It's not the worst deal.

If you're happy with the way that a 328 drives, then have at it and ignore those that want/need more. Good luck!

In late June I also got an 07 328xi with 38.5k miles for $21k from a dealer since it was not a CPO. Being in late June awd vehicles have lower prices; and being manual it was not in high demand, sat on the lot for 2 months. Mine is a sedan and has premium package, moonroof, and the previous owner took it in for service every 5k to the dealer I bought it from. So I believe that is a fair price for the car.

I do not think you can get a CPO 335xi for anything less than $27k.

Ha! I saw the subject and thought "I bet someone says 'get a 335.'" I had no idea it would be the very first comment. I'm starting to think they need their own forum.

well, i only said it because their used car value is very low, and very comparable to the 328. You do get more options stock plus better performance + its my opinion.

I've learned to tune out all the "335 or go home" noise on here, but I always feel compelled to point out that the performance difference between the AT and MT is far more significant on the 328 than the 335. So I'm glad to see the OP is looking at a 328xi MT coupe, which is exactly what I have, and I don't regret not getting a 335.

Also note this car is for sale in Georgia; if it were for sale in New England where people succumb to the myth that AWD is sometimes better in snow, they'd probably be asking a couple grand more. my 2c.

Hard to gauge the condition when they don't post real pics and why did the second owner just keep it for 11 days?

AWD IS better in snow. I'm not saying you can't drive RWD in snow, I have had several RWD cars I drove in winter, but AWD > RWD in snow.

Not a bad price. Not a great price. I would say $21k would be fair.

I don't disagree one bit, I was being facetious Every time the "is xi necessary" question comes up, some RWD fans absolutely want to prove this isn't true (AWD > RWD in snow).

I was wondering how an xi ended up in GA, but the Carfax shows sold new in MN which makes more sense.
