Hot or Not?

i've posted before about ordering a e92 coupe and currently it's "waiting" to be shipped.

Everything is standard on the 335xi except

heated front seats..

The trim is also aluminum.

There are no body kit mods, seeing that the sport suspension isn't available on the XI.

So, will you bash the car or just think of it as meh?

*i also plan on debadging the car.*

Wait - you ordered this car, right? So you did the options. If you ordered the config you wanted, I don't see how anyone can bash your decision. There's no "wrong" way to configure a BMW from the factory.

Side note - I wish I had opted for heated front seats, for some reason I didn't get them. I forget why.

Yeah, but EVERYONE has sport kits and all that. My thinking at the time of ordering was as long as i have the engine I don't need anything else.

I actually had to recall my SA to tell her i wanted heated seats cause i pretty much ordered just the car .

everything is NOT standard on the 335xi. No real leather seats, no bluetooth, no upgraded sound, no navigation, no USB, no keyless start. If you just ordered the car itself you didn't get much for that amount of money. But if that stuff isn't important to you then thats all that matters. Personally I'd rather have a loaded 328i than a base 335i.

Did you even build one on bmwusa.com? You'll see that standard is pretty much sub-standard. Premium package should be called the Normal package fo realz

ZSP is needed in an E92 IMO.

I could careless for bluetooth, leather seats and navi, but what i did want and what i believe to be standard are the angel eyes and Xenons.

I'd call it luke warm.

I don't think it is a bad base package, but there are alot of things missing others typically want so other than price, it won't have attractive selling points when you go to get rid of it. The biggest omission I think is the leather as BMW leatherette is just not the same and at that price point it is expected.

BTW, you are correct, Xenons are standard. You will also get Voice Bluetooth for handsfree calling and a plug in USB port for ipod/phone charging.

What color did you get? That could move it to warm

You could care less or you couldnt care less?? Handsfree cell phone use is law just about everywhere and all that crap available at cell phone stores is pretty weak compared to built in bluetooth. Sounds like it matters more to you what other people (angel eyes)think of your car. Drive it and love it.

Yes, you are missing a lot. I ordered my car with almost every single option. And there are few I could live without at this point.

things I cannot live without:
upgraded sound
comfort access
park distance control
alarm
bluetooth
nav
ipod

Could never live without these. You should reorder your car or something. And get an i with snow tires, not an xi.

/order fail.

Sorry

Also something I discovered with my e90 after purchasing ... fold-down rear seats are an option! Couldn't believe that. My old $15k (new) Kia Forte had standard fold-down rear seats, but not my 335 ... ugh.

You're not the only one that has tripped up. Fortunately on the E92 it is standard.

I would highly recommend "splurging" for at least the upgraded sound.

I use my eyes & common sense. I can judge distance without PDC.

Cute try, though.

Your car will be "old" too in a short time. Not fair to talk tough because you have a 2011.

For some people a stripped down car is what they want but with the BMW quality and engine performance.

I wouldn't order a car the way you have yours as things I want are missing but if you don't want the extras that is up to you.

If you are asking if people will bash your car, then you made a mistake on what your ordered and now you are second guessing yourself.

BTW, why the heck would you ever debadge your car? To me, when you debadge your car it's because you are ashamed at what you are driving!

Heated balls = lowered furtility. Therefore heated seats should be standard for most guys.
