From 2011 328xi to 2012 X1 .. opinions ?

We are thinking of changing from our 2011 328xi Coupe to a 2012 X1...
My wife thinks that would be a better vehicle for her year-round.
She is NOT enjoying the stiff (to her) ride/handling of the 328.
Anyone have any experience with the new X1 vs. the 328xi ?
Did not get much (none) response from the X1 forum so I am posting here (the most watched forum I have ever seen)
Thanks

If the only thing she doesn't like is the stiff ride, why not try ditching the RFTs? if that doesn't cut it then I would look at trading it in. It's cheaper to replace the tires vs change the car.

Also, the X1 is really small. I dunno about you guys but I think its about the same size as an E91. My sister is trading in her E92 for an X3 or X5 next spring, but thats for other reasons. You would just take a huge depreciation hit if you got out now.
