2011 E92 Kidney Grills

So I purchased a set of matte black kidney grilles from the member white E92 a few weeks back. I was getting some work done on the car already so I just dropped them at the shop. I get a phone call from the owner of the shop saying that they were too small. Does anybody know of an instance where the grilles differ in size from 2008 to 2011? The grill size changed on the 2011s. I think it was from a 03/10 build date forward, but I'm not sure of the exact date.

i think the LCI e92's have a different grille size from pre-LCI e92's

+1 the 2011+ E92's are considered LCI, which have a different front kidney grill than a standard 2007-2010 E92.
