Planning a weekend trip.. Any idea?

Sup guys, trying to go some where for a weekend with a group of friends around NY (tri-state area), but we don't know where to go this time lol. We want some kind of outdoor activities with nice scenes. Any recommendation? Like what to do, and where to go.

Cherry Springs State Park
Route 44 is probably the best driving road i've been on since Switzerland. on a clear moonless night you'll see more stars then you can imagine. Bring Binoculars and a tent. Then pop over to the PA grand canyon in Leonard Harrison State Park.
