This might sound like a stupid question, and I know this won't be street legal in many states but...

Is there a HID or LED kit for LCI-Halogen headlights?

FYI, I'm talking about the Low and Highbeams, not the AEs

HID: just get a canbus kit from wherever you like and it will be error free (prepare for massive flaming go retro projector ect ect...)

LED: haven't heard of a LED plug and play solution before (unless your talking about those ebay bulbs but those aren't bright and will most likely cause an error)

But isn't there a mini projector retrofit for the HID these days? I know alot of Japanese cars have em available

By the way Xenesis Tru-Match Bulbs are the best H7 replacement as far as Halogen color goes right?

A majority of the members here will just say get OEM xenon and get it coded or get the DEPO headlights because i rarely see anyone here actually doing a retrofit. And for colored halogen bulbs i can't help you there cause I never had them but I would assume it wouldn't be very bright....that or its still pretty yellow (not true 5000k...6000k..rice rocket k).

So personally, just get canbus HID kit and never post pic of it. You have brighter headlights and no one will ever b*tch at you, win win

You can put HID in the headlights, you just won't have projectors... that's all. Ensure that you get a Canbus HID kit that won't throw errors on your car.
