Vendor Fail

Okay, before I begin this upsetting thread on how furious I am about this order that I placed on August 4th, I would like to say that Bimmian actually isn\'t as bad as I\'m about to make them seem. They\'re actually really helpful and were quick with my other orders. However, this was a pretty big fail on their part an left me upset.

I ordered a set of painted kidney grills August 4th, eta was 2-10 days to paint, and then they would be shipped.

They had problems and I was extremely patient with them. Three weeks later they say my grills will take an additional three weeks until they are painted because they are having troubles in the paint shop.

I cooperated and asked them if they would be completed before September 4th because I was going back to college on the 6th and wouldn\'t be able to get them if they are delivered later.

Today I ask for an update and I got this:

Hi,

We regret to inform you that due to circumstances beyond our control we will not be able to fulfill your order for CUSTOM painted product at this time. Our paint shop has been having some equipment issues that have caused them to be delayed significantly. While we are dealing with these issues we understand that the wait time may be longer than you expected at time of order. We fully understand if you would like to cancel the order and be refunded OR be given SITE CREDIT so you can enjoy other products for your vehicle. If you can not wait out this delay, please contact us here and we will gladly aid you in making this happen promptly.

Please accept our sincerest of apologies that we were unable to deliver your product, and we hope you understand that this was all due to our commitment to providing the highest quality possible to our customers. We are working hard on a solution for the future. We appreciate your patience thus far, and for placing your order with us.

Thank you

Thanks,
Scott H

Would\'ve been nice to have known that I could\'ve just ordered a set of grills from another vendor a month ago.

Damn! Lol, no disrespect but I was really excited about these grilles. Now I gotta wait another week or two to order a new pair.

Sorry for the essay and a half, I\'m venting. Lol.

If you plan to shop for painted products from bimmian, I would strongly encourage that you ask them first before placing your order for the time being until they fix their problem. Or get at JLeviSW.

Just informing you guys and no offense to Bimmian man, they're cool people.

Is there any difference between the oem performance gloss black grills and painted ones?

I mean, I'm sure the OEM ones are of higher quality, but the JBSPEED grills are probably just as good.
