Helpppp Please!! Rear Rotors Question!!!

so im replacing my rear brake pads and rotors but i have no idea how to remove my rotors. so if you can point me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated!

p.s. I've been searching the web all over for diy guides but can't find any!!

The rotors are held on by an allen screw. You'll have to unscrew it. you'll also need a rubber mallet to hit the rotor off cause it'll still be stuck on the hub. Hope this helps. Gl.

After 100K miles, even a small sledge was of no help. I ended up using the hyd jack to (slowly/slightly) push up on the rotor. The leverage broke the corrosion bond.

OP, if you don't understand the connection between an engaged hand brake lever and the effect of the brake shoes on the hub of the rear rotor, it might be time to use your life line to call a (mech-savvy) friend.

Gotttttt dayummmm!!!! Finally got it!!! Haf buy PB blaster and sprayed it around the hub area, let ir soak for a little then spray some more, then knock it from behind (pushing the rotors towards you. Then voila!!! It's out!!!!!!

Hopefeully you didn't spray any PB on your hand brake shoes/ pads on the inside of the rotor! This would ruin them.

Because it's a common mistake. Heck I've done it multiple times. Wail on the rotor for 20 minutes only to realize that the hand-brake is on.
