Disconnected battery... JB4 tune not the same... Does it need to re-adapt?

disconnected negative battery cable and now I notice a significant loss in power. Similar to when I first installed tune before it adapted. Did it reset? Does it simply need to re-adapt?

when I first installed tune, I drove it really hard as I was told the load cells will adapt most effectively that way. The first handful of 1st-3rd runs anyway. Then, I just drove normally. Over next 2-3 days it started feeling really strong. After resetting battery, and the tune resetting, I didnt drive it hard immediately afterwards. Will it adapt as effectively/strong this time around?

thanks!

Do 3 full 3rd ger pulls and car should be fully adapted.

I'm wondering if I should disconnect negative cable to reset again, then drive hard as I did the first time so it adapts most effectively..?? Or, what beemw335 said... a few 3rd gear pulls.

There is no "tricking" the car. Do a log to see where you stand.

The software definitely needs to re-adapt.

As in a few 3rd gear pulls now, or disconnect/reconnect battery and immediately get on it with a few hard pulls?

Thanks

Terry said no need to "recalibrate."
