Easiest way to Remove 3m'd Aero Lip?

Hey guys,

what's the easiest way to remove my aero lip from my E92? I'm positive it's held on by double sided tape as i' was able to remove a corner but it seems as if removing the entire thing is gonna be a PIA. Local shop wants to charge me $100 on top of the price they're charging me to repaint it to remove it and put it back on.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Try to heat it up with a blowdryer or heatgun and use some floss.

Go buy some 3M adhesive remover. Spray it on, let it heat up in direct sunlight, remove. Easy.

Tried blowdryer. Waaaaaaay tooo slow, would take 4+ hours just to take the thing off. Also tried Floss with that blowdryer and none would last long at all, kept breaking.

I have, and it works. Sprayed it on the adhesive and let the car sit facing the sun for several minutes. Was able to take it off.

How were you able to spray the center section. I might try this tommorow.

Use one of those thin straws. Also, it is easier once you get the sides loose.
