my 335i is out of warranty and the wastegates are messed up...everytime i floor it the car goes into limp mode, any1 have a idea on how much the waste gatescost? and is it a hard job to do??

1200 parts and labor. the waste gates themselves are cheap but the labor is not...

Both complete turbo setups go for 1200.

The actuators are about 80$ each if I remember correctly. And install isn't hard.

Even cheaper than that..$555 each

Just had it done under warranty... 0 out of pocket but my bill at dealer was 1200 and some change.... Doesnt matter to me because I didnt have to pay but just passing on what it was

The dealer charges outrageous labor rates and hours per job..but glad you got it done just the same..curious how you got a bill? When i was under warranty I would get a bill but it would say N/C "no charge"..are you sure your not trying to save face here..considering the amount they "billed" you was for the exact amount you quoted above..

I'll see if I can't find the invoice copy I was given. Your right about no charge but It did say on my invoice what the price of the job was quoted above. But all in all I'm sure you can get the job done MUCH cheaper. Good luck
