I've had a weird issue with my 335i with the BMW Professional system in it a few times.

Every once in a while, I'll start my car and my radio won't have any volume. I mess with the volume knob, try to switch sources but it doesn't let me, shut off/restart repeatedly with and without the key in the ignition slot, but the volume won't kick on.

A couple times it happened, it started working after restarting it, but the last two times, it's kicked on as soon as I put the car in reverse. It happens only every few months and it's really confusing me. My iPhone is paired with the bluetooth if that matters.

Is this some weird feature or is my stereo going out?
