Procede PWM kit and road course

This is not another PWM review but instead an inquiry.

I drive an AT. AT plus 20 min road course sessions = heat = reduced power. That's one of the biggest factors for getting a PWM kit. I wanted the cooling effect and liked the fact that it would kick in without the need of WOT. Now, I believe I'm in the minority when it comes to putting a car on the track. Vishnu's PWM recommendation below looks good for the street. However, I don't think it would work well for the track. Running 16.5 boost can't be good for an extended length of time. And frankly, that much power isn't necessary.

So, my question is this:
What settings would you run on a road course? What would you recommend for both Maps 1 and 2 in case I run out mid-session? Again, this is not for 1/4 or street. I am not looking for max power.

Here are my engine mods:
V5 2.5 (7/29), PMW, DCI, ETS 5" (Correct, I am running stock DP)

Procede PWM recommendation:

I will disagree with you there.... at 18 PSI, I still want more.... but man does it put you in your seat...

You listed all the default settings, it worked for me.

I am data logging now and asking Shiv how we know what % meth injection is to tooo much - I need to to know what to look for in the logs so I don't bog the motor I figure.

I will bump it to 30% or 40% injection and see if that feels better up top. I want to see the logs show a difference though, I think Input Air temp will be a key figure.

If you have FBO, to to 17 PSI and tell your grandma you will pick her up in your wife's car..... BUMP IT UP and let her RIP !! it is addictive

EDIT: Sorry, I thought you had FBO... you don't - I think your boost is right. Go get an intercooler...

oh, on Map 2, put your traction control setting to 30%.. big difference.

I'm saying it's overkill for the track. This car isn't lacking when it comes to power. Suspension and tires start becoming the biggest opportunity.

Got the IC. Basically, I'm FBO minus the downpipes.

I have a Wavetrac LSD like you. Surprised you're still implementing the procede traction control. You don't feel like it's losing speed by utilizing it?

Still crazy as in too much power? Did you reduce boost? How long were the sessions and how long did the meth last?

This. I personally run the ring at 15 psi and was plenty. Temps were 126 C oil and 107-109 C water. Even with meth your temps will go up a lot.

I will play around a bit more with the percentage.... but if I run 100% TC, bmw net nanny kicks in still and that really bugs me. With 30% TC, I get a bit of play, and I like that.

Don't get me wrong, there is a HUGE difference with the rear end now with the LSD... massive change in the car for sure as you know.

If I am going off the line WOT, I will usually hit DTC once and let TC take it from there... certainly too much power in first without careful application.

This was a tight autocross course. Meth held up fine because the total amount of time spent driving wasn't very long.

My point wasn't to set a certain psi that I recommend but rather just to say that your boost should be dependent on the type of track you are on. Generally, the tighter it is, the less power can be used effectively.

I enjoyed my car much more at low boost on that course simply because I didn't have to worry about spinning as much.

Well, I'm hitting the track Wednesday morning. I think I'll set map 1 to 12psi. Map 2 for 14psi with meth. I'll see if there's a benefit. Very curious about temps. We shall see.

Any other opinions on the topic?
